Day 11/100 - This Tiny Painting Felt SO Calm…

Day 11 of my 100 Tiny Paintings challenge and today’s painting felt incredibly calm to create. After swatching some of my ShinHan Professional Watercolours the night before, I discovered two colours that worked beautifully together: ✨ Jaune ✨ Jaune No.2 Using these warm and cool yellow tones alongside a tiny touch of Payne’s Grey, I wanted to create something very soft, atmospheric and minimalist. I’m constantly thinking about my “consistency triangle” when experimenting with new paints and surfaces — especially with highly pigmented professional paints like these. Sometimes softness, atmosphere and simplicity can create the strongest emotional response.
