Can an Op Shop Lace Dress Create Beautiful Gelli Prints?

Welcome back to my studio! One of my favourite parts of working with a gelli plate is experimenting with everyday objects to see what interesting textures they might create. This time, an old lace dress from the op shop caught my eye. In this video I put it through its paces, trying different colours, different orientations and different ways of printing to see whether it earns a place in one of my floral gardens. One of the biggest lessons I've learnt over the years is that creativity often starts with a simple question: "I wonder what would happen if..." Sometimes the results are exactly what I'd hoped for.
