So when half the Americans we asked called it unmissable and the other half said they wouldn't go if you paid them, we had to see which side was right. We got knighted (well, one of us did), ate an entire meal with our hands, picked a team we didn't choose, and found out our knight was less "noble hero" and more "lovable cheat." Along the way: a castle full of gift shops, a flagon of ale that cost more than it should have, and a very real question about whether two grown adults with no children were about to feel very out of place.
