Instead of using a rod and reel, I decide to fish the old-school way using my traditional wooden handline. No fancy gear — just line, bait, and the feel of the fish in your hands. After setting up on a beautiful stretch of coastline and soaking a few baits, the action finally happens… and the handline comes tight with a very big snapper! What follows is an epic fight as I try to land this powerful fish using nothing but the handline. Fishing this way is such a raw and exciting experience. You feel every head shake, every run, and every bit of power from the fish. Once the fishing mission wraps up, the adventure isn’t over. I take the fresh snapper home and turn it into an awesome catch and cook, making some absolutely delicious snapper burgers using the fish we caught that day.
