I Went Deep Into China’s Countryside 🇨🇳 Foreigners Never See This

In this video, I travel into the Chinese countryside near Zhongxiang City during the Lunar New Year to explore a side of China that most foreigners never get to see. I start the day at a beautiful historic site from the Ming Dynasty, filled with red gates, yellow roofs, ancient statues, dragons, phoenixes, stone animals, and mysterious old buildings hidden in the countryside. This place feels completely different from the modern China people usually imagine, and it honestly felt like stepping into another world. After that, I go even deeper into rural China, driving through small villages, countryside roads, farmland, lakes, local homes, chickens, fish ponds, and places that feel completely untouched by the modern world. I try fishing for lunch, eat a huge homemade countryside meal, meet local people, and experience what life outside China’s giant cities is really like. Later in the evening, I return to the village for Lunar New Year celebrations, where things get even crazier. Traditional costumes, performances, fireworks, cannons, strange characters, happy families, and a festival atmosphere that made the whole day feel like one week of adventure packed into a single day. This was one of the most surprising days I’ve had in China so far. The countryside is beautiful, strange, peaceful, chaotic, traditional, and full of life all at the same time.
