Not Every Day Is Sweet 🌧️ Rural Jamaica Life 🇯🇲
Today wasn’t one of those big exciting adventure days… it was just real life. We head to Craig’s school to officially pick up his expulsion letter and face the reality of what comes next. Some days feel heavy, confusing, and uncertain… but life doesn’t stop moving. The car finally gets repaired, the boys still laugh and play, chores still need doing, and the chickens continue getting prepared for processing this weekend. Out here in rural Jamaica, not every day feels sweet while you’re living it… but maybe growth happens most during the ordinary and difficult moments nobody celebrates. So we slow down, appreciate the simple things, spend time together in Port Maria, and somehow still find ourselves ending the day at the beach. Enjoy the journey.
