Some lessons don’t happen in a classroom. We started the day processing another round of chickens and realizing how much smoother life gets with experience, teamwork, and everyone understanding their role. What used to feel overwhelming is slowly becoming routine. But the real adventure started later. Armed with straws, tape, bottle caps, and imagination, the boys set out to design homemade boats for a challenge at the beach. On the surface, it looked like a simple competition to see whose raft could float the best… but underneath it was really about perseverance, problem solving, and learning how to keep trying when things don’t go according to plan. Some boats floated. Some failed spectacularly. Nobody quit. We wrapped up the evening with burgers, fries, and a tent campout in the playroom — the kind of simple moments that end up becoming the memories kids carry for life.
