The school year is coming to an end, and so is the tutoring program that has been such a big part of our lives over the past several months. On their final day, the students put the finishing touches on the books they wrote and illustrated themselves before saying their goodbyes. Back at home, we decided to take on a screen-free challenge and surprise the boys with some classic games. Before long, our yard was transformed into its own World Cup tournament as competition, laughter, and plenty of friendly trash talk took over the day. We also tried a new recipe by making our own ground chicken from scratch, tackled the usual yard duties around the property, and took the dogs for a walk using their new leashes.
