Phone Scam 267 | The "Vumon Vision" Scam: When Scammers Ask About Your Vacation In this video, we document a conversation lasting over an hour with a supposed financial expert named "Melanie Becker," who, on behalf of the company "Vumon Vision" (also known as "Woman Vision"), attempts to lure investors into a fraudulent trap. The Scam in Detail: The scammers deliberately use psychological pressure and technical jargon to feign legitimacy. Here are the most important warning signs from this case: Unrealistic Profit Promises: Returns of up to 75% per month or a doubling of capital within 20 days are promised. Technical Jargon: To safeguard the investment, the use of "artificial intelligence" (AI) and an automatic "stop-loss" function is claimed, supposedly to make losses impossible. Dubious bank account details: Despite an alleged company headquarters in London, the money (minimum deposit €250) is to be sent via real-time transfer to a company called "Cherry Objects Limited" in Lithuania. Data theft under the guise of "verification": The scammers aggressively request photos of passports or ID cards via email – supposedly for the bank's "verification system." The turning point: Things get particularly interesting when the scammer insists on receiving not only the front of the passport but also the back pages. Since these pages contain personal vacation stamps, the person being called refuses, thus revealing the scammers' persistence and need for control. The purpose of this video: As the creator clarifies at the end, the lengthy conversation was intended to steal the scammers' time ("baiting") to prevent them from harming real victims during that time. ... ⚠️ Important Notice: Never give out identification documents or bank details to unknown callers! Reputable financial institutions will never request such documents via email during a sales call. Did this information help you?
