Telefonbetrug 268 - Der Obsidianische Orden
Beware of Scams: The "Obsidian Group" Scam Exposed In this video, we take a detailed look behind the scenes of a fraudulent stock market platform called Obsidian Group. Using original recordings, we reveal the psychological tricks and false promises these scammers use to try and swindle their victims out of their money. The Bait Tactic: Artificial Intelligence and Dream Returns The scammers specifically advertise the use of artificial intelligence (AI) for trading on the financial market. Victims are led to believe that the software works completely automatically and requires no prior experience. To arouse greed, returns of up to 70% are promised. They also lure customers with massive "bonuses": Anyone who deposits €1,000 is supposedly to receive another €1,000 as a trading bonus. ... The Red Flag: Inconsistencies and Dubious Accounts Even in the initial conversation, clear warning signs emerge that every investor should be aware of: Name Changes: The caller introduces themselves sometimes as "Mark Fischer," sometimes as "Mark Werne." Dubious Recipients: Instead of the company, the money is to be transferred to private individuals (e.g., an "Andrej Kusiaka") in Swiss bank accounts. Pressure Regarding Documents: The fraudsters aggressively demand screenshots or PDFs of online banking statements, supposedly to verify the payment. More Than Just Financial Loss: Identity Theft The scam doesn't end with the initial deposit, usually €250. The perpetrators try to persuade their victims to invest thousands of euros. However, a far greater risk is identity theft: By uploading personal data and identification documents to the platform, the fraudsters can commit further abuse in your name. ... A Name as a Warning In the conversations shown, the person who registered the scam uses the pseudonym "Allois Weg" (Allois Way). When spoken quickly, this sounds like "Everything gone"—and that's precisely the bitter reality for anyone who falls for these platforms. Important Note: This information comes directly from the analysis of the conversation transcripts shown in the video by the Obsidian Group. Be suspicious of offers that sound too good to be true. 🤡 ⚠️ If you'd like to support me, you can send me a donation via PayPal: https://www.paypal.com/donate/?hosted...
