Reuters Story Text: "President Mobutu Sese Seko of Zaire arrived in Uganda ... for talks with President Idi Amin on the border troubles between Uganda and Tanzania. Originally, it has been hoped that the Zaire President would also be discussing the expulsion of non-Ugandan Asians, with particular reference to President Amin's three-month deadline. However, President Mobutu denied that the expulsion of the Asians had prompted his visit. He did say he would discuss the border trouble between Uganda and Tanzania. Nevertheless, President Amin has told President Mobutu that he would not change his mind about the three months deadline for the expulsion of the Asians, which expires on 8th November. The Zaire President received a cordial welcome when he arrived in Uganda. During a ceremony at which President Amin described President Mobutu as "a true brother and friend of the people of Uganda", he was decorated with Uganda's highest honour - the Order of the Source of the Nile."
