Diarista confessa assassinato de casal em BH e afirma ter ouvido vozes

Housekeeper Paola Stefany Neto Cirino confessed to police to the murder of an elderly couple in Belo Horizonte. She admitted to killing Cláudio Atala Inácio, 75, and Maria Clotilde Moreira Maciel Atala Inácio, 76. The crime occurred after she drugged the victims with poison mixed in juice before stabbing them. According to police, Paola stole valuable items from the victims' apartment and sold them for R$ 3,300. She was arrested in the city of Itabira with two cell phones: one old and one new, bought after the crime to hinder the investigation. The building's cameras recorded the housekeeper entering at 7:30 am and leaving at 1:30 pm with bags, including a purse identified by the victims' son as belonging to his mother. There were no signs of forced entry. During her testimony, Paola claimed to have had a psychotic episode at the time of the crime and stated that she heard voices ordering the murders. She also mentioned financial problems due to online gaming addiction as a motivation. Police are investigating the possibility of another person's involvement. A driver allegedly helped the accused escape; she claims he was a ride-share driver unaware of the crime.
