Bruninho Samúdio had a childhood marked by difficulties even before his birth. The son of Eliza Samudio and former goalkeeper Bruno Fernandes, he faced adversity even in his mother's womb. His mother disappeared on June 4, 2010, after traveling from Rio de Janeiro to Minas Gerais at the goalkeeper's request. It was in Minas Gerais that Eliza was held captive and murdered at Bruno's behest. According to the courts, Bruno Fernandes ordered criminals to kill Eliza Samudio to avoid acknowledging paternity.
