Ep. 55 - 3 săptămâni mai târziu... ne-am apucat din nou de treabă

After 3 weeks we return to our wooden cottage on stilts in Dâmbovița County and find a real construction site! In the meantime, the ceiling has been plastered over the cellulose insulation, but the result is not exactly what we expected, and the disappointment is quite big. We do not let ourselves be discouraged and move on to the next important stage of the construction: insulating the walls with 10 cm basalt mineral wool and installing the paneling. However, the first wall seriously tests us. The walls are not perfectly straight, there are many angles and cuts, an outlet must be moved and each piece must be measured and cut carefully. In this episode we also have help, and together we manage to take an important step towards transforming the cottage into a comfortable holiday home. Mugur also tests out a new brushcutter (which we will talk about in detail in the next episode), we have a barbecue after a busy day, and in the evening we finish with another round of cleaning. Finally, we show you how much it cost us to insulate the ceiling with cellulose and plasterboard, as well as how much we invested in the first wall insulated with basalt wool and paneling.
