Welcome to a new episode from our wooden cabin on stilts in Dâmbovița County! Almost 2 years ago we started this project with a single dream: to build, step by step, our place of peace in the middle of nature. Every weekend spent here means work, challenges, beautiful moments and the satisfaction of seeing how the cabin takes shape. In this episode we have a full day! Mugur takes care of the maintenance of the land and tests a new brushcutter, and I try out a battery-powered shear for the first time, perfect for finishing the edges of the lawn and hard-to-reach places. In the meantime, we continue the work inside the cabin. We insulate another wall with basalt wool and cover it with wooden paneling, and the living room is starting to look exactly as we imagined it. With each completed stage, the cabin becomes more welcoming and closer to our dream. We also have an adorable surprise: a puppy, a puppy from the sheepfold, who started visiting us every time we arrive at the cabin and has completely won us over. ❤️ There is also no shortage of moments spent with friends. We have guests, prepare a barbecue, tell stories and enjoy a quiet evening in the middle of nature, exactly the kind of simple atmosphere for which we started this project.
