Reset your Nervous System: Gentle Bowspring Movement This is a gentle Bowspring class designed to help you regulate your nervous system and nourish your inner sanctuary. Through slow, mindful movement and intentional breath, we create space in the body so that strength can arise from safety rather than tension. This practice invites you to release gripping patterns, lengthen through the spine, and allow your core and pelvic floor to respond intelligently and elastically. If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, anxious, depleted, stressed ... or simply in need of grounding, this class offers a supportive place to return to yourself. Props for This Practice To feel extra supported, you may want: • 3–4 pillows (one larger pillow and three smaller ones) • 1 yoga block These props help create support, lift, and gentle feedback for the body. However, if you don’t have them, you will still receive plenty of benefit from this practice. Come as you are. Props or no props. What is Bowspring? Bowspring is a dynamic postural alignment system that restores the body’s natural curves and spring. It emphasizes length before strength, breath before bracing, and elastic engagement instead of rigid gripping. By organizing the body in this way, we support tissue hydration, core integration, pelvic floor health, and nervous system regulation. It is a practice of resilience, vitality, and embodied awareness.
