There's No "Right Way" To Play A Character... Watch This

What happens when two actors play the same scene, but make completely different choices? This is the Role Reversal Exercise. In this experiment, both actors are given the exact same script. They perform the scene once in their assigned roles, and then again after swapping characters, with no prior knowledge of each other’s choices... The result? Two completely different versions of the same scene. This exercise explores a core truth of acting: There is no single “correct” way to play a character. An actors interpretation, instinct, and choices shape the role. Every actor brings something different. And that difference changes everything. This was our original experiment, and it’s now evolving into a full series. Subscribe to follow the next phase, where we take this concept even further. If you’re an actor, filmmaker, or just curious about performance, we’d love to hear your thoughts! Which version worked for you?
