Just One Of Those Days #76

Today's trucking vlog starts on a rainy morning in Clayton, Georgia as we make the final 60-mile run to Gainesville for an 8:00 AM delivery appointment. Despite doing everything possible the day before, we know we're going to arrive a little late—but that's trucking sometimes. After getting unloaded in Gainesville, the day is far from over. We head across Georgia toward South Carolina for a trailer swap in Spartanburg, followed by a stop at the TA to scale the new load before continuing north. With over 32,000 pounds in the trailer, it's time to make sure everything is legal before hitting the road again. As the day goes on, the realities of life on the road start to set in. Parking challenges, changing plans, dispatch requests, broken laundry machines, and running right down to the last minute of available driving time all become part of the day's story. Sometimes trucking isn't just about driving—it’s about adapting when things don't go according to plan. I also share some honest thoughts about work-life balance, time away from home, burnout, and the importance of taking time off after spending weeks on the road. Every driver has those days where frustration builds up, and today was one of those days. Some days are smooth. Some days test your patience. This was definitely one of the latter—but tomorrow is another day.
