Birthday Behind The Wheel #59

Happy Birthday to me! 🎉🚛 Today’s vlog starts bright and early in Houston, Texas as we head out for two morning deliveries across the city before picking up our next load and beginning the long journey back toward Canada. After a fun night at the baseball game, it was back to work with Houston skyline views, fog lifting over the city, quick unloads, construction memories, slick roads, scaling headaches, and the challenge of getting legal on weight after pickup. Once loaded up, we hit the CAT scale only to find ourselves overweight. After sliding tandems to the max, we were still 40 pounds over — meaning the only solution was burning fuel off while making our way north. Just another normal day in trucking. 😅 The day wrapped up with a long push through Texas before shutting down for the night near the Arkansas border after squeezing into the last tight parking spot at a busy Racetrac. With nearly 2,000 kilometers left to Canada, tomorrow is going to be another full driving day. Thanks for riding along and spending part of my birthday out here on the road with us!
