Police in São Paulo are searching for those responsible for the attack on Lieutenant Ronickson Pimentel of ROTA, who was shot in the head in São Caetano do Sul, in the ABC Paulista region, last Saturday (27). He remains hospitalized in serious condition. In Guarulhos, in Greater São Paulo, a man died during a shootout with police while trying to break into a house. Officers seized a weapon and 15 rounds of ammunition at the scene. In the eastern part of the city, during an investigation into the attack on Lieutenant Pimentel, another suspect was killed. He had no confirmed connection to the crime. The identities of the two men arrested who, according to the police, participated in the plan to execute the ROTA lieutenant, have been released: Carlos Roberto Ferreira and Marcos Vinícius Dias Machado. Investigations suggest the involvement of the PCC in the attacks, possibly as retaliation for operations that arrested or killed members of the group. Vehicles used in the crime were seized.
