Gaming and the Golden Record
In 1977, NASA launched the Voyager Probes, and alongside them a record and a question. How do we represent humanity solely through the art we make? On these records are a collection of songs we hope aliens might eventually find, and through them understand us. In this video, me and 21 other video essayists will be doing the same thing, but instead of representing humanity with music, we will represent it with games. Each essayist explains a game and why they feel it's a great ambassador for humanity on the Golden Record of gaming.
