During that time, Daniele took second place in the Alpe Adria championship and later became champion of the Triveneto region, but then took a break for many years, until his return and debut in hillclimbs. In 2011 a terrible accident stopped him again, but surprisingly his great determination got him back in the saddle stronger than before!
