Ni millonario ni jefe ¿por qué emprender? | Francisco Del Villar | TEDxITAM

This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. Drawing on his experience in an accelerator program, Francisco proposes starting their own businesses as a cure for university students who feel disconnected from their surroundings and unsure of their life goals. He is an economics student at ITAM and a philosophy student at UNAM. He was a member of the team selected by Epic Lab to form a startup accelerated at MIT. He is a founding member of the MIT Global Founders’ Skills Accelerator, based at the Martin Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship. He is also a co-founder of FarmUp, a project that promotes transparent trade between farmers and cities. About TEDx, x = independently organized event. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TED Talks videos and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
