Do you think it's possible to be both a socially conscious and an entrepreneur? Rafa's experience provides the answer. My name is Rafa, I was born in '79, and I've always been fascinated by imagining projects and bringing them to life. With that premise—taking action—I've participated in more than 30 business models, navigating all kinds of entrepreneurial adventures. I studied architecture and then engineering, so I started my own business and learned through trial and error while finishing my studies. When I realized that strategy and people were what truly captivated me, I pursued an MBA. Even so, I've always been a firm believer in learning by doing, and also in being more collaborative than corporate, as I understand business as a way of giving, not receiving. Today, I teach here and in Cuba. I work as a mentor and strategic consultant from Indonesia for companies of different sizes and sectors, helping them with their decision-making, and I've written a book published by Anaya in which, using my own examples, I explain how to create a business plan.
