NNR Holt Signal Box
On the North Norfolk Railway (NNR) at Holt is a Signal Box that Chris kindly let me film in. I got some behind the scenes images and information. It was very interesting. For example the 'token' gives that particular train right of way on a single line part of the railway. The signals are all wire operated with a little electronic help here and there. The cimes were coming from Weybourne Signal Box, as the two operators communicated to each other who had control. Being trackside, I also got to view the water filling process very clearly of the GWR 56XX steam loco. This is a pretty railway line, well worth a visit. Internet search 'Calvertfilm'.
