sapporo, hokkaido vlog part 2- clock tower, flowers, afternoon tea, cherry blossoms

I spent a busy day in Sapporo, enjoying the spring weather in Hokkaido's capital city. First I checked out one of the top tourist attractions in Sapporo, the Clock Tower. Then I headed to the Hokkaido University Botanical Gardens, a huge free park full of flower and trees in the middle of the city. For lunch I tried out Japanese afternoon tea at the hotel I was staying at, it was definitely not what I expected! Believe it or not, one of the most peaceful and places in Sapporo is surrounded by skyscrapers and busy roads! Tongu Shrine is known for its numerous cherry blossom trees which were in full bloom when we visited. For dinner we found the best ramen restaurant in Sapporo, where we warmed up with a special Sapporo miso ramen.
