2 days in sapporo - hokkaido vlog part 4 - sapporo beer museum, shiroi koitbito park, JR tower

I spent a couple of days in Sapporo, whilst the weather was cold and rainy, exploring museums and eating lots of cool food. Sapporo is the capital of Japan's northernmost main island, Hokkaido which is well-known for it's thriving industry and manufacturers. So to stay out of the rain, I took a couple of days to explore Sapporo's food and drink factories and museums. I visited Shiroi Koitbito Park, a chocolate factory and museum run by the popular brand Ishiya. Here I discovered the Japanese's love for putting a European-twist on buildings, food and more! As well as things to do indoors, Shiroi Koibito also has lovely gardens which are free to access, full of flowers including tulips and more. I also tried a traditional Japanese teishoku, set meal, with fish, vegetables and miso soup and I tried Japanese fluffy pancakes for the first time. When in Sapporo, you have to try their famous crab miso ramen, trust me it was one of the best I have ever had. I also visited one of the top Sapporo tourist attractions, the Sapporo Beer Musuem. It included an exhibition about the brand's history as well as the art from their old adverts. A lovely way to end the day in Sapporo, is by watching the sunset above the city at it's tallest building, the JR Tower. I went to the 38th Floor and watched as the sky turned from blue, to pink, to amber over the city and its surrounding mountains.
