Basketball Offense: Pick and Roll
The pick and roll is an offensive move that allows basketball teams to create multiple options and get an advantage over the defense. The pick and roll is performed with one player setting a screen for a ball handler. As the player with the ball goes around the screen, the defender guarding the screener should be forced to guard the ball handler. This can allow the player setting the screen to attack the basket, receive a pass and finish at the rim.
