This documentary by MWADO, a member of the ASAL Humanitarian Network (AHN), tells the story of how communities in Marsabit County, Kenya, are leading their own recovery and development through the Supporting Community-Led Response (sclr) approach. From constructing school classrooms and pit latrines to purchasing ploughing oxen for food security, every initiative featured in this film was conceived and started by the community—and only then supported by partners.
