Gothic Remake: Treasure Hunter

It was finally time to completely clear out the Mountain Fortress by opening all those chests I had skipped while searching for the Focus Stone. For that, I finally decided to spend 10 learning points on Lockpicking and headed back to the fortress. I have to admit, opening chests is much easier when you actually know how to pick locks. So I cleared every chest in the fortress and eventually found the key to that one chest I couldn't open before. Inside was a pretty decent armor, although by now it's not exactly cutting-edge equipment anymore. There was still one problem, though. I couldn't reach the chest behind the broken bridge. Naturally, my solution was to transform into a Bloodfly and simply fly across. The only issue was that I had neither a transformation scroll nor the ability to create one. Which meant I had to return all the way to the Swamp Camp and learn how to make those scrolls first. Only then was I finally able to cross the gap and open the chest, which contained a rather nice potion. I also remembered that there was an area near the Swamp Camp that I had skipped while searching for the very first Focus Stone. I had heard some strange noises coming from there back then. Now I know what they were. Just a couple of zombies. And I'm really glad I decided to investigate after all, because finding a free Thunder rune, one that I had been too cheap to buy myself, was a pretty nice reward.
