On this Ninth Day, we contemplate the magnificent vision from the Book of Revelation, where a Woman appears clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head. This glorious image reminds us of God's ultimate triumph over evil and fills us with hope as we contemplate the maternal protection that Mary exercises over all her children. The battle between good and evil continues in our lives, but the Gospel proclaims a truth that fills our hearts with hope: Christ has already triumphed, and those who remain faithful to the Lord will never walk alone. Our Lady of Mount Carmel, as a loving Mother, accompanies the Church in the midst of trials, protects those who wear the Holy Scapular with faith, and strengthens those who persevere on the path of holiness. Today we renew our trust in God, entrusting to Him our fears, our struggles, our families, and our future. Under Mary's protection, we find comfort, strength, and the certainty that no darkness can overcome the light of Christ. As a spiritual practice for this final day, the novena invites us to ask God for forgiveness for our sins, approaching His infinite mercy with a repentant heart and renewing our desire to live according to the Gospel. 🙏 Thank you for joining us during these nine days of prayer.
