PERMITS: You cannot visit Zero Point without a Protected Area Permit (PAP). We got ours sorted in Mangan/Gangtok a day prior through our local coordinator. 2. VEHICLE: High ground clearance is highly recommended. The roads past Thangu Valley are unforgiving and can easily damage a low sedan. 3. HEALTH: Carry portable oxygen cans, stay hydrated, and do NOT overexert yourself at the top.
