Улица Тарибу стала аллеей Атгимимо. Глас “народа” услышан

On Thursday, June 4, the Visaginas Municipal Administration announced the registration of a new city avenue, Atgimimo. This name was assigned to Taribu Street by a Council decision a week earlier. This name was proposed by the working group "on renaming Taribu Street." The group's task was to select the most suitable alternative for the street's name, which had to be changed by a decision of the de-Sovietization commission. Therefore, as of today, Visaginas has two avenues: Sedulinos and Atgimimo.
