This is Porsche's last water-cooled, rear-wheel-drive sports car, known for its enthusiast-like presence. It doesn't fall into the 911 grade pyramid, and you can drive it around town without worrying about being overshadowed by other 911s (lol)! It's a car for middle-aged car enthusiasts, and I personally think it's a car that's even more sophisticated than the 911. What's more, this car for sale is a manual transmission! Owning it won't decrease the value of your 968 unless something extraordinary happens. Unfortunately, this car doesn't have a vehicle inspection certificate, so a test drive wasn't possible, but the Porsche 968 is a rear-wheel-drive sports car that Porsche made with great care. Not only is it hard to find, but it's also a rare model on the verge of extinction. At the time of this interview, in May 2024, there were only three Porsche 968s on the Japanese market. Two of those were Tiptronic, and this was the only manual transmission. The used car price is 6 million yen, which is a bit of a concern. Let's not be rude and say it was half that price a few years ago. Compared to the Porsche 911, which has a cumulative production of over 1 million units, only 14,000 Porsche 968s were built.
