This week something very exciting finally happened... my new shutters arrived! I’ve been waiting ages for this moment and honestly, they’ve transformed the house. I ordered them from Blinds by Post, and I was so impressed with how easy the whole process was. I ordered a free sample, measured up, popped all the details into their online tool, and within four weeks they were here... way faster than the 12 week wait I was originally quoted! They were also so much cheaper than other quotes I had, and the best part? I installed them myself! It was actually super simple, just assembling the frames, screwing them into place, and that was it. Now every window has shutters and the house finally feels private, secure, and cosy...which means so much as a single mum living alone. It also happened to be my birthday this week… and it was my first one spent completely alone. 36 years old and waking up to a quiet house for the first time ever.
