Sadhana Takes Us To Enlightenment & God | Swami Sivananda, Divine Life Society and Sathya Sai Baba

The life of Dr. Kuppuswami who later became Swami Sivananda Saraswati stands as a beacon of hope and encouragement for everyone desirous of achieving the highest goal of life. He persisted with his intense sadhana of japa (chanting God's name), dhyana (meditation) and seva (selfless service) and established the Divine Life Society. He was blessed with enlightenment and then, by a visit from the Kaliyuga Avatar, Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. The events that led to Swami Sivananda meeting Sathya Sai are miraculous, touching and enlightening at the same time. It resulted in Swami actually travelling to bless Swami Sivananda at the Divine Life Society HQ in Rishikesh in July 1957, and later, to bless Swami Chidananda in April 1982.
