05.09.2025 - VN24 - DOKU - Sattelzug auf A2 bei Recklinghausen umgestürzt

VN24 - 05-09-2025 (D/M/Y) - Recklinghausen A2 - Germany - DOKU - A semi-trailer (dump truck) crashed on the A2 freeway near Recklinghausen at around 08:50. Presumably after a tire burst on the front axle, the driver could no longer hold the truck, skidded and ended up tipping over onto the left-hand central guardrail. The load of gravel had to be removed with excavators, after which a tow truck was able to put the truck back on its wheels and tow it away.
