Was The Flannan Isles Lighthouse Keepers Mystery SOLVED?
On December 26, 1900, a lighthouse tender boat named the Hesperus arrived at Eileen Mor in the Flannan Isles so the 3 on duty lighthouse keepers on duty could rotate. However, there were no preparations made at the dock, no flag on the flagstaff and no provision boxes left for them like usual, so the Captain of the Hesperus blew the steam whistel and the siren to get the attention of the 3 on duty flannan isle lighthouse keepers. After realizing that this whistle and siren had no effect, he fired a rocket, which too, would get no response. The 3 on duty Keepers had seemingly disappeared from the Island, and their disappearance has never been officially solved. This video is going to cover the most likely explanation, that was proposed in December 1900 already. It's also going to cover the most unlikely explanations as well, because apparently, people don't like rational explanations #unsolvedmysteries #disappearance #flannanisles ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Information Sources: Northern Lighthouse Board: https://www.nlb.org.uk/history/flanna...
