We left the caravan on the beach at Port Grimaud and took a wander into Saint-Tropez of an evening — proper eye-opener. Superyachts worth more than a small country, young girls with elderly men, and a whiff of diesel and money everywhere you turn. One boat alone: $275 million to build, $30 million a year to run, 38 crew. We even bumped into Rick Stein (he definitely called me "caravan vlogger" — probably). Back at Camping de la Plage in Port Grimaud, I show you round the site: beachfront pitches, sandy ground that gives the jockey wheel a bit of a fight, a decent bar with €15 burgers, and a main road splitting the site that somehow doesn't bother us at night.
