Relieve one-sided tension by stretching and balancing your side. Do you sometimes experience back pain, neck tension, or a tense shoulder blade, all on one side, for example, on the right? This is often due to weakly activated back muscles on one side and "shortened" muscles on the opposite side of the body. The key is to train the lateral inclination of your thoracic spine, which is often blocked by one-sided activities in everyday life (in 80% of cases, on the right side, by the way). This is where pain of varying severity occurs. Classic symptoms are: neck tension, pain under the shoulder blade, back pain, and, of course, all on one side. In this video, you'll learn the following: We'll first test which muscles in your body are actually responsible for your splinted spine. We'll open the corresponding muscles that repeatedly pull you to one side into your protective posture. We'll activate muscles that are currently hibernating and pull you back to the correct side. Finally, we'll apply this to your training so that you won't fall back into this protective posture in the future.
