🚧 Av. HUAROCHIRÍ: Futura VÍA RÁPIDA entre Ate y Santa Anita | Carretera Central

On Tuesday, June 23, 2026, I visited the construction site of the future Huarochirí Avenue Expressway, which will connect the districts of Ate and Santa Anita. I began my journey along Huarochirí Avenue in Ate, heading north. From the aerial view, it's clear that work is already progressing on the reclaimed land. The soil has been leveled, compacted, and removed to prepare for the road alignment and the foundation of the future overpass. The new concrete sidewalks are already visible along the sides of Huarochirí Avenue, as well as the space for a future bike lane. In the central section, the subgrade has been prepared, leaving the ground leveled and compacted for the base of the future ramps that will connect to Santa Anita. This project is being carried out by the Metropolitan Municipality of Lima through Invermet, with an investment of over 35 million soles. The main work consists of a modern elevated overpass that will cross the Central Highway to alleviate traffic in this area. In this phase, work is underway on the Ate side, in areas that were occupied by private companies for more than 40 years. Well, that's all for today's tour. See you in the next video.
