🔥 De SAN JUAN DE LURIGANCHO a SAN ISIDRO: 20 KM | El Muro - Javier Prado

This time, returning from East Lima, I passed through Fernando Wiesse Avenue in San Juan de Lurigancho, starting my route from the intersection with El Muro Avenue and continuing to the intersection of Arequipa Avenue and Javier Prado Avenue in San Isidro. It will be approximately 20 kilometers to my destination. Since it's Sunday, we'll see what the roads are like today and check out the bike lane on Tacna Avenue, where they recently painted the road markings. The planned route is: Fernando Wiesse Avenue, Próceres de la Independencia Avenue, Los Postes bike lane, Las Flores de Primavera bike lane, Lima Avenue, San Martín Tunnel, Prolongación Tacna bike lane, Tacna bike lane, Garcilaso de la Vega bike lane, Arequipa Avenue recreational bike lane. Here, the traffic light turned green, but the pedestrians crossed against the red light. The police truck was blocking my view, so braking suddenly wasn't an option because of the vehicles behind me. I had to gradually reduce my speed and find space. Los Postes Bike Lane. Bike Lane in Las Flores de Primavera. Lima Avenue. San Martín Tunnel. Tacna Extension Bike Lane. Tacna Bike Lane: Here you can see that they've painted the horizontal markings, including the lane lines and the broken line separating the two directions, as well as the curbs. Garcilaso de la Vega Bike Lane. Arequipa Bike Lane. Recreational bike lane on Arequipa Avenue. On Sundays, this approximately 7-kilometer stretch is closed from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for non-motorized sports such as cycling, skating, and running.
