Women in Myanmar - 1000 Day Journey | Ep. 1
Come and follow us on a 5-year journey. A journey that takes place in a small village in rural Myanmar at the inception of the ENRICH:1000 Day Journey initiative and invites you into the lives of three women who are struggling through the peaks and valleys of life in remote regions of their country. Over 3-episodes these women will take us on riverboats and motorbike trips through the jungle, to the construction of health centres and through the miracle of birth, they will give you a view of life through their eyes. With funding from the Government of Canada, World Vision Canada through the 1000 Day Journey initiative has been implementing activities in Myanmar that are working to improve the health and nutrition status of mothers, newborns and children in select regions of Bangladesh, Kenya, Myanmar and Tanzania.
