Left in the Forest: The Girl Who Survived Trauma to Fight for Justice | Micho's Story

"I was demoralized, depressed, and ruined." At just 14 years old, Micho’s life in Ethiopia was shattered when she was attacked and left alone in a forest. In the wake of this trauma, she felt the weight of her community’s whispers and the crushing loneliness of a stolen childhood. But Micho’s story does not end in that forest. Despite the pain, she is fueled by a new purpose: to ensure the dignity and rights of girls are never ignored again. Micho dreams of becoming a lawyer to bring justice to an "unfair world" and protect those in her community who are suffering. -------------------------------------------------- Subscribe for more videos: https://wvc.ca/ytsub Going to the ends of the world where no one else goes.
