PS2 - Shadow Hearts: From the New World Part 36 - The Doll House

RetroPlay: Video Game Walkthroughs Shadow Hearts: From the New World by: OmegaSion Ricardo head's the the Doll House after what Capone told him, however something isn't right when the party arrives... Welcome to one of the more creepier segments of the game. Although I do have to admit, this Doll House is a lot more tame than the ones in the previous two games. Snaps required from this dungeon: 13x Gregor, 9x Gresiru, 7x Kareau, 2x of the Boss Ricardo is a mandatory member for this dungeon, which he is also the on-screen character whenever you're in the dungeon. Before starting this dungeon, I suggest equipping your team with Cosmic Bracelets or Shell Bracelets to protect against Poison. The enemies here use the Poison skill which will inflict poison on your entire team if you don't, and nothing's worse than fighting a battle with Deadly Poison on your team members. Also, whenever you fight against the Gresiru enemies, make sure you take them out if their health is in the red or don't let their health drop that low before they get a turn. The reason for this is they will use the Spirit Ward skill on a member of your party and eject them from the battle, thus making them miss out on EXP. In order to progress in this dungeon, we have to finish the incomplete doll that is talking to the party. First we need ears, if you check the study and read the books you'll get clues as to which we need, then head into the work room and pick up the right ears to put on the doll. Once we put the ears on the doll we learn about what happened, and find out that the room is sealed which we need the right eyes in order to release the barrier on the room. In the bedroom behind the study we'll find the dolls with the eyes we need, remember to take them out in the proper order. We also find a nifty accessory for Ricardo in here as well. Back to the doll, put the eyes of Despair and Rage in the doll to unlock the barrier, then head upstairs. Before going through the back door upstairs make sure your party is equipped with Zodiac Bracelets, as this boss will attempt to petrify your entire party. Another thing to watch out for is the boss' Dying skill. When it uses this it will reduce whoever it attacks to 1 HP, so make sure to heal whenever you see it use this skill. Other than that, typical boss strategy: Take out it's stock, buff up, grab two snaps of it, and let loose. Try to keep Barrier on your team as Hail Crest hurts (even with barrier). Whittle it's health down to about 2000 before you unleash your combo attacks on it to ensure you finish with a combo magic if you want that reward. After the fight we get a moving scene with Ricardo, however before going back to Chicago, head back into the Doll House and go back to the boss room. On the floor near the chair is the Hail Crest stellar, and in the chest behind it is an all important Crucifix accessory. These accessories, if you haven't played the previous games, grants protection from all status effects, as well as instant death so make sure you pick it up. After that head back to Chicago, to Capone's room and Ricardo will pick up his final Muse Item: Unfinished Score, which essentially can make your entire party powerhouses (seriously, one of the skills gives all party members except Ricardo the Third Key effect). Now that that's done, our next destination will be the Ninja Hideaway to see what the Jonin wants with Frank.
