Woodturning | Viking from log

#logtoviking #viking #woodturning In this video you'll see me woodturning a viking from a log, yes, thats right, I made a viking (albeit a cute one) from a log. *Excuse the sore throat and the out of sync voice - not sure what happened there!) This is an easy beginner's woodturning project. It was simply a matter of turning a basic body and helmet shape, a club and some feet. The real fun came when adding the finishing touches to this mighty warrior. I was inspired by the vintage vikings made by Jacob Jensen in the 1950's. I figured I could have a go at making my own version, and I'm delighted with how he came out. Lots of scope to make him some raiding buddies.
