Woodturning| Log to Owl In this video you will see me turning some scrap wood and a Yew log in to a cute little owl. This is a beginner's turning project and really is pretty straightforward. I decided to keep sections of bark on to look like wings and feathers and kept the design very basic, it could be a little more fancy with ears and so on if you wanted to spruce him up even more so.
