Woodturning a Gonk, from start to finish (in the style of a Viking)

From a pine scrap, to a festive Gonk with a Viking hat (instead of a tall bobble hat). I make these with a few different hats and some have shields too. For this video, I did a few things for the benefit of capturing the footage for you. For example, I wouldn't normally attach the nose and the beard whilst mounted on the lathe. But feel free to have a go and do it the bast way that feels comfortable to you.
