Polskie fregaty za 8 mld złotych — flagmany czy cele?

Polish Frigates Worth 8 Billion PLN – Flagships or Targets? A country with virtually no fleet sank or damaged about a third of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in just two years, sent its flagship to the bottom, and forced the entire fleet to flee Sevastopol, a base held continuously since 1783. How did the weaker destroy one of the strongest – and what does this mean for Poland? In this video, we break down the lessons of the Black Sea step by step: why in a closed sea like the Baltic, with an average depth of only 55 meters, a large ship cannot be hidden; how a $250,000 drone can sink a billion-dollar vessel with a ratio of 1 to 4,000; and how, on May 2, 2025, an unmanned boat downed a Su-30 fighter for the first time in history. Against this backdrop, we pose the most important question: is the Polish Miecznik program, three frigates based on the Arrowhead 140 design, a future naval flagship or a costly target in the confined Baltic Sea? We impartially present both expert camps—supporters and skeptics—and explore what could be a truly costly mistake. The material is based on analyses by, among others, the USNI, the Atlantic Council, Navy Lookout, and the Pulaski Foundation. Music used in the film: "Eyes of Glory" by Aakash Gandhi and "Duty Calls" by Rod Kim. Images are from archive.org and are in the public domain.
