02 Convert Multiple Currencies in Excel

In this video, we'll take our simple currency converter a step further by converting multiple currencies in the same Excel worksheet. Instead of using a single exchange rate, we'll create a table containing several currencies and use named ranges to make our formulas easier to build and maintain. You'll also learn how to apply consistent currency formatting using Cell Styles, customise styles to update your entire workbook, and format currencies such as the Japanese Yen (JPY) and Canadian Dollar (CAD). These techniques are ideal for anyone working with international price lists, invoices or financial reports. In this video you'll learn: Creating multiple named ranges using Create from Selection Working with several exchange rates Applying consistent formatting with Cell Styles Modifying Cell Styles Formatting international currencies Using Japanese Yen (¥) Displaying Canadian Dollars as CAD Building professional-looking worksheets Spreadsheet formatting best practice This is the second video in my Currency Conversion in Excel & Power BI series, where we'll progress from simple formulas to live exchange rates and automated reporting.
